The idea of a community center and park began over 35 years ago with the decision that the gymnasium at Old Efland School was beyond repair.  A group of local residents began the Meridian Community Foundation and have decided to again spark the charge to bring a multipurpose facility to our community.  Our initial concept is to have a Community center, multipurpose Gymnasium , Ball parks, Amphitheater and large open spaces for Festivals & Events.  We need your vision, passion, dedication and financial contributions to make this dream a reality. 

Our area has had a vast expansion of growth and received National attention and we believe this park is long overdue.  Our location between the Triangle and Triad regions will continue to grow and a wonderful asset like this park will be something our families and friends could enjoy for generations.  Join us in this endeavor as a volunteer or contributor.
