MISSION
The Mission of the Tarheel Minuteman Foundation is to strengthen the support and assistance to our past, present and future Soldiers and Airmen of the North Carolina National Guard and our partner agencies.

The Foundation is organized exclusively for charitable, educational, or scientific purposes within the meaning of Section 501(c)(3) of the Internal Revenue Code, to provide for enhanced support services for North Carolina National Guard members and their families, and veterans and their families.
A. The Tarheel Minuteman Foundation may provide educational degree-granting programs, and non-degree granting educational services and offerings for members of the National Guard and others.

B. The Tarheel Minuteman Foundation will promote the health, security, happiness, and well-being of North Carolina National Guard Members and their families, and veterans and their families, by providing enhanced military family support services to meet their familial, physical, spiritual, social, psychological, and financial needs.
C. The Tarheel Minuteman Foundation may assist in providing financial support for programs associated with the North Carolina National Guard Integrated Behavioral Health program.
D. The Tarheel Minuteman Foundation will assist North Carolina National Guard Members and their families, and veterans and their families by supporting opportunities for access to decent and affordable housing for low and moderate income veterans and their families and helping to improve economic conditions for low income veterans and those who live in poverty, or those who may be disabled or disenfranchised.
E. The Tarheel Minuteman Foundation will engage in those activities which further these purposes, and which address the needs of North Carolina National Guard members and their families, and veterans and their families, that may be unmet or unfunded within the state of North Carolina to include such programs as (1) The integrated behavioral health program, (2) family assistance centers, (3) North Carolina National Guard Association Educational Foundation, (4) The North Carolina National Guard Soldiers and Airmen Assistance Fund, (5) other such charitable programs and projects as permitted by law. Such Activities are to be a part of the pillars of resiliency of the Foundation.
F. The Tarheel Minuteman Foundation shall engage in Local, State or National opportunities which help to promote, further and support the mission of the National Guard, First Responders or similar Military organizations. Activities shall include such programs as (1) Conventions, Expos and Recognition Events (2) Disaster Relief and Emergency Preparedness Initiatives (3) Gold Star and Similar Military Organizations Programs and Services.

SUPPORT THE FOUNDATION
The Tarheel Minuteman Foundation was developed to help coordinate partnerships among our National Guard members, Military, First Responders and their prospective agencies. The Foundation will help to coordinate efforts and serve as an umbrella agency coordinator for various nonprofit organizations to help better serve our objectives. Our goal is to improve the effectiveness and positive impact that each program or service we offer.

Our intent is to develop, manage and implement large scale events and programs to enhance our Soldiers and Airmen ability to better serve State and Country. Your support is vital to our support of these hometown hero's.
